At the heart of BB ALPHA is a hardened stainless-steel bearing race, hand-built in Denmark with Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls. This advanced construction maintains CeramicSpeed’s trademark ultra-low friction while significantly improving corrosion resistance and long-term reliability—ideal for muddy, wet, and high-impact trail riding.

 

The BB ALPHA system features custom-engineered light-contact seals and precision dust covers, increasing moisture and contamination protection by up to 500% without compromising drivetrain efficiency. A simplified spacer tube design and newly developed 7075 aluminum cups reduce overall weight by approximately 10% compared to previous generations, while ensuring faster and more straightforward installation.
