The CeramicSpeed BB ALPHA for BB92 Shimano MTB is engineered for pressfit BB92 mountain bike frames (41mm inner diameter, 92mm width) and Shimano 24mm spindle cranksets, delivering uncompromising performance in the most demanding off-road conditions.

 

At the core of BB ALPHA is a hardened stainless-steel bearing race, hand-built in Denmark with Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls. This construction preserves CeramicSpeed’s signature ultra-low friction while dramatically increasing corrosion resistance and long-term durability—ideal for muddy, wet, and high-load MTB riding.

 

A newly developed system of custom light-contact seals and precision-engineered dust covers boosts moisture and contamination protection by up to 500%, without compromising efficiency. Combined with a redesigned structure and lightweight 7075 aluminum cups, BB ALPHA achieves a 10% weight reduction compared to previous generations while offering quicker, simpler installation.
