The CeramicSpeed BB ALPHA for BB86 Road (SRAM DUB) is engineered for BB86 press-fit frames (41mm bore, 86mm width) paired with SRAM DUB cranksets featuring a 28.99mm spindle. Built on the completely redesigned BB ALPHA platform, it sets a new industry benchmark for bottom bracket performance, longevity, and ease of installation.

 

At the core of BB ALPHA are hardened stainless-steel bearing races, hand-built in Denmark using Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls. This construction delivers CeramicSpeed’s trademark ultra-low friction while dramatically improving corrosion resistance and long-term durability.

 

A newly developed system of custom low-contact seals and precision-engineered dust covers increases moisture and contamination protection by up to 500%, without sacrificing efficiency. Combined with a simplified internal spacer design and newly developed 7075 aluminum cups, BB ALPHA achieves a 10% weight reduction over previous generations.
