Description

Limar is Astana’s helmet sponsor and in March its CEO presented Cavendish with this special limited-edition ‘white gold’ version of the Air Atlas aero helmet he's been wearing this season. On the right side of the helmet is a little gold France, the iconic hexagon surrounding a number 35 representing of course his Tour stage wins total. On the left is a square with the UCI World Championship colours and a number 4 in the centre. Cavendish won the 2011 Worlds on the road in Copenhagen but he’s also a triple Madison world champion on the track, first winning in 2005 at age 19.

Ventilation is essential for the rider's performance. With Air Atlas, ventilation is guaranteed by specific air intakes that allow a large amount of air to blow fast through the internal channels, cooling the rider's head, and by Venturi effect to come out at the back, rejoining the flow that runs along the external surface of the helmet, free from obstacles: no vortex, no turbulence, just pure speed.

DESIGNED FOR COMFORT

Every single component of Air Atlas has been carefully designed for comfort: the new Air Fit Evo adjustment system, integrated with a more comfortable strap, the new divider, minimal and ergonomic, perfectly adherent to the rider face, the Fidlock magnetic buckle. The most comfortable set up is finally completed by a pad system, carefully designed to optimize ventilation and comfort.
