ShimanoSLX BL-M7100 brake lever
Thehydraulic SLX BL-M7100 brake lever is characterized by Shimano's SERVOWAVEtechnology which improves the lever's modulation ability. Because the brakelever absorbs a lot of braking distance right at the start of its movement, thebrake pads have disc contact more quickly and it remains more lever travel toadjust braking force. That is why SERVO WAVE brake systems are characterized byfaster response, higher performance and shorter idle travel.
The SLXbrake lever's construction is inspired by the XTR model, so the clamp is notmounted parallel, but with an angle to the handlebar creating a second contactpoint which provides significantly increased stiffness. For individualcustomizability, the lever is equipped with a tool-free reach adjustmentoption. Thanks to the I-Spec EV design the SLX SL-M7100-I shifting levers canbe mounted directly to the brake lever.
