The Iconic SILCA 24.1 gasket is the heart of the press-on Presta chuck.  The current 242 gasket utilizes a high tech and very red, fully synthetic elastomer base material.
The cyclist or mechanic who is looking to bring their SILCA PRESTA CHUCK back to all of its glory by replacing the sealing gasket.

This unique bright red gasket borrows from industries which require air-tight seals in the harshest of environments. It tests to a life expectancy of more than 5X the carbon filled rubber or Buna-N materials used previously.  New Two-Stage seal geometry seals on both valve stem and at the base of valve core threads resulting in a more positive seal and improved durability.  The new gasket slips onto the valve stem with a satisfying 'click', while unique internal geometry actually utilizes line air pressure to compress the gasket onto the valve stem: the higher the pressure, the tighter the seal. This design is so iconic we've found more than 20 companies world-wide making pump heads and gaskets copied from this, but none of them can come close to the precision and technology of the SILCA 242.

The 252 Gasket is the replacement gasket for all SILCA disc wheel adapters.

The 252 replace the classic SILCA 25.1 gasket after more than 20 years in the market.  This unique gasket borrows from industries which require air-tight seals in the harshest of environments. The 252 gasket utilizes a high tech, full synthetic elastomer base material. It tests to a life expectancy of more than 5X the carbon filled rubber or Buna-N materials used previously.  In tests with a major disc wheel manufacturer, the current SILCA Disc Wheel Adapter with 252 gasket excelled by posting a blow-off pressure of 393psi where other designs were unable to reach 120psi. Older versions of the SILCA Disc Wheel Adapter will still benefit for the new gasket, but have a lower hands-free max pressure.

SILCA 254 Gasket Fits 'HIRO' V.2 LOCKING PRESTA CHUCK
The cyclist or mechanic who is looking to restore their SILCA HIRO v.2 LOCKING PRESTA CHUCK back to like-new condition by replacing the gasket that creates the strong seal they have come to expect.

This unique bright red gasket borrows from industries which require air-tight seals in the harshest of environments. It tests to a life expectancy of more than 5X the carbon filled rubber or Buna-N materials used previously.  The SILCA 254 Gasket has a large range of compression to make the most of the HIRO v2 LOCKING LEVER PRESTA CHUCK design. Easily fits over most valve stems and then secure clamps to form a tight seal.

The sealing gasket for at least 3 historic SILCA brass chucks with reversible heads as well as the IMPERO frame pump.
If you own a classic SILCA floor pump with a reversible brass head or an IMPERO frame pump, this is the replacement gasket. The images on this page shows some of those possible applications.

There are at least 3 original SILCA brass chucks that use this gasket as well as the IMPERO frame pump.  However, none of them were as widely sold as the Presta Only chuck and we had been unable to find original 323 gaskets that were unused and in near original condition to assess performance, so the team at SILCA had to completely redesign and optimize this part from scratch.

This modern 323 gasket has been developed using the same high-tech fully synthetic elastomer used on our modern 242 gasket on the SuperPista ultimate.  We find that this material allows for greater valve holding power, greater sealing and significantly improved life expectancy.  New 2-stage Seal Design improves high pressure performance and also makes it unnecessary to press the chuck on as far as the original design required.   With a 323 gasket your classic SILCA pump will literally perform BETTER than new!
