The Wilier F-Bar ID2 is an advanced aerodynamic integrated carbon handlebar, engineered through close collaboration between Wilier’s R&D team and the Groupama–FDJ WorldTour Cycling Team. Designed for the demands of modern high-speed road racing, it balances aerodynamic efficiency, rider comfort, and precise handling.
At the core of the F-Bar ID2 is Wilier’s O.E.F. (Optimized Ergonomic Flare) concept. Unlike traditional flared handlebars that alter control ergonomics, O.E.F. introduces a controlled, orthogonal flare that improves stability in the drops while preserving the natural feel and position of the brake hoods. The result is a cockpit that allows riders to maintain a compact, aerodynamic posture without sacrificing comfort or confidence during aggressive riding.
FEATURES
O.E.F. – Optimized Ergonomic Flare
3 cm orthogonal flare between upper and lower hand positions
Enhanced stability and leverage in the drops
Maintains unchanged hood ergonomics for natural hand positioning
Aerodynamics Without Compromise
Encourages a narrower, more tucked riding posture
Reduces frontal area while maintaining full control
Optimized for race pace, sprints, and long high-speed efforts
Consistent Control Ergonomics
Unlike variable-width handlebars, control angles remain unchanged
Minimal adaptation required when switching hand positions
Ideal for riders who demand precision at speed
WorldTour-Proven Development
Co-developed and validated with Groupama–FDJ professional riders
Designed for elite racing, training, and high-performance builds
Available Sizes (Top Width / Drop Width)
35 / 38 cm
37 / 40 cm
39 / 42 cm
(Measured center-to-center. Narrow tops for aerodynamics, wider drops for control.)
