Description

The comfort of riding wider tires combined with the performance of monocoque wheels – that’s what the MARK 4 enables.

The latest rim design is an adoption of the well-known MARK 3 SL and the engineering process was supported by the Technical University of Graz with time-consuming CFD-simulations in order to get valid aerodynamic improvements. The outcome is a wheel which is cutting trough the air even with wider tires and enhanced inner rim width.

The MARK 4 is raising the bar in aerodynamics and performance. The biggest change is the revised spoke design. As well as at the MARK 3 SL the cross-sections of the spokes are aerodynamic proven NACA-profiles. Controversially we managed to increase the aerodynamic efficiency as well as the stiffness by increasing the cross section aera of the spoke.

A highlight of the new design is the groove along the spoke. This feature is for aerodynamic and stiffness improvement and therefore enables higher speed at same wattage as well as better power transfer.

Only the best is good enough and that’s why we are building the MARK 4 with the ceramic bearings of the market leader Ceramicspeed to get the best power transfer possible.

Typically for XeNTiS the deep rim design includes an active-turbulator-wave for the aerodynamic performance and the immediately recognition of the brand.

All these characteristics make the MARK 4 the perfect choice for ambitioned riders to meet their high quality and performance claims.
